1. Explain the cycles of day/night and of seasons.

 

Students will know the seasons, know what a life cycle is, understand the difference between day and night and know the difference between the sun and the planets.

Model and role play the earth going around the sun.

McGraw-Hill Science: Ch. 3, Topic 4, PP. 70-73

Four students hold up names of the seasons and the rest of the class puts them in order. Change starting season.
