slides of single-celled and multi-celled
organisms. prepare slides parts of microscopes draw observation label cell structure How to use a microscope properly. Students will use their science
journals to record their response to "Thinking Like a
Scientist," activity p. 2, Assessment Book:
Plants. Students will complete Explore
Activity "Investigate What Plants Have in Common," p. 3 in

of major organ in human systems. . Students will work in small groups to
select a major human organ system to research, including
both its structure and function. Information will be
presented to the class through an oral presentation
including visuals of the system. Students will also take
notes on each presentation. Students will identify various systems
by matching organs to a particular system, as well as
choosing the correct function.
